Our Emcee – Richard Black

Our emcee this evening is local entrepreneur, businessman, and self-claimed renaissance man, Mr. Richard Black.

Richard spends his days running Rich Graphics, a local design and marketing firm that specializes in web design alongside content and social marketing.

He also runs Old School Games, a company that restores, repairs and builds arcade machines and retro video game systems.

A staple in the geek community, he can be found at various conventions throughout the province and at the Arcave, his retro video game arcade located in the heart of Truro. Richard is also lead instructor of the Graphic and Web Design program at DaVinci college in Halifax. Though Richard can’t sing a note, he is musically inclined and plays some guitar, and is now learning
